I suggest that you look at Daniel Moerman's (1986) "Medicinal
Plants of Native America," which is a compilation of information
from 92 published sources. Information on the use(s) of a
plant species by specific Native American groups, with references
to the original sources, is arranged alphabetically by the
scientific name of the species. There are a number of indexes
that guide you to species of interest, including a grouping by
primary usage, called indications. Indication categories
that might be of help to you include: abortifacient, breast
treatment, contraceptive, and gynecological aid.
