need info on environmental/spiritual beliefs for research paper

My Name is Mark Lafaver. I am a student at St. Lawrence University
in Canton, NY and I am currently enrolled in a course on Native
American Environmental Issues. I was struck by the many parallels
between the beliefs of the modern Deep Ecologists and the environmental
and spiritual beliefs of the Native American cultures that I have
recently studied. I have made this the topic of a research paper,
and request that anyone interested in the topic share their ideas or
sources which may lead me in the right direction. Thank you for your
