For info on sentencing circles, contact the "Aboriginal Justice
Directorate" in Ottawa. It is a federal Dept., they have published information
on the success and failures of sentencing circles. They have also produced a
documentary on it. I believe "Native Vision Productions" has also produced
a documentary called "Sentencing Circles" as well.
Much research on sentencing circles has come out of the university of
Saskatchewan too, you might want to contact the Native Studies department
at that school. Wider use of sentencing circles has been made out west
and in the far north.
