My suggestion would be that she contact the tribal government offices of
one or more of the Apache tribes (e.g. White Mountain or San Carlos in
Arizona, or Mescalero or Jicarilla in New Mexico) and ask to be directed
to someone there for this information. She will most likely be directed
to a cultural resources person or department with references to
information of the type she's asking for.
