I'd like to announce that I have succeeded in getting all of the NATIVE-L
archives that have been accumulating since mid-1991 hypermail-ized and put
in a location where they can be freely accessed via any World Wide Web
browser, such as Mosaic, Netscape, or Lynx. Again, the URL for the main
NativeNet page is "http://www.fdl.cc.mn.us/natnet/" You'll find the NATIVE-L
archives easily by selecting the "archives" link. If you want to go directly
to the NATIVE-L archives, use "http://bioc02.uthscsa.edu/~gst/nl/"

I would like to make the archives searchable, and plan to investigate using
the WAIS system for providing that capability as soon as possible. For now,
however, if you want to search the archives, you'll need to use the database
facility provided by the LISTSERV system at TAMVM1 (Texas A & M University).
A pointer to a writeup of that facility is provided on the index page for
the NATIVE-L archives noted above. You can also get a copy by sending a
message to the address "listserv@tamvm1.tamu.edu" containing only the line:

get nn-intro archives native-l

(that's the numeral "1" in "tamvm1" and the letter "l" in "native-l").

I hope to have the archives of the other lists (*including NATCHAT*) avail-
able by means of the Web within the next couple of months. I'll make an
announcement to this list at that time.

Please let me know if you need any help.

Gary
