The American Indian Museum Studies Program at the Smithsonian Institution's
Center for Museum Studies funds one to two interns a year to participate in
their Museum Intern Partnership Program. It provides a dual internship
experience at a Smithsonian facility and at a community-focused museum,
developed as a partnership between a Smithsonian facility and a specific
tribe. For more information contact the American Indian Museum Studies
Program, Center for Museum Studies, MRC 427, Smithsonian Institution,
Washington DC 20560; phone 202/357-3101 or Fax 202/357-3346.
