Grant monies are available for the coming winter and spring quarters for any
Native American men interested in entering the fascinating career of health
information.

* Do you possess a high school diploma or equivalent?
* Are you fascinated with science and/or medicine, but too squeamish for a
hands on job of treating patients?
* Do you delight in the challenge of problem solving and appreciate work
requiring attention to detail:
* Would you take pleasure in a well paying, secure job?

If you answered yes to any of the above questions, you may qualify for special
funds earmarked to encourage men to enroll in the Health Record Technology
Program at Salish Kootenai College in Pablo, Montana. Native Americans are
particularly encouraged to join this appealing field of employment. Health
Records is predicted to be one of the fastest growing careers into the next
century. As healthcare reform continues to change from centralized care in a
hospital setting to auxiliary care in long-term facilities, surgi-centers,
home health, and physicians offices, the need for Accredited Record
Technicians, professionals in the health record field, continues to grow.

Stop by Salish Kootenai College and contact Elain Frank in the Administration
building (406-675-4800 ext. 417) or Robert Yankovich (ext 373 or 406-883-1389
(home)) in the Health Records Technology Program, Michel Building, Room 18.
