I am an international political economist who is researching traditional
indigenous forms of political decision-making such as consensus formation,
powersharing, political structures, communal land rights, and women's roles
in inheritance, land and property rights, and tenure. I am researching not
only Native American sources but also indigenous peoples globally. I would
like to apply this research to the field of developing host country
international petroleum and mining investment and trade public policy.
