NativeHistory-L@Cornell.EDU American Indian History

NativeHistory-L is a listserv for the discussion of American
Indian History. For the purposes of this list, "native" refers
to autochthonous peoples of the North Americas (the US, Canada, and
Mexico) and neighboring islands, including Hawaii. Discussions in
this list are open to any aspect of American Indian History. The
list welcomes book reviews, information about publications, talks,
conferences; and informal discussion about American Indian
History. While different points of view are always welcome, flamers
will be deleted from the subscription list without notice. This list
should be a low-volume list -- around 5 to 15 messages a week --,
so it is unlikely that it will fill your mail queue. Please bear in mind
that this is an unmoderated list; thus anything you post to the list
automatically goes out to everyone.

A complete set of searchable archives is available at the following
WWW site:
http://www.uwm.edu/~mwilson/hist.htm
Because this list is new, there isn't much there, but the archives will
be constantly updated with everything posted to the list.

To subscribe to the list send e-mail to listproc@cornell.edu with
the BODY of the mail containing the command:

SUBSCRIBE NativeHistory-L Your Full Name

The list manager is NOT the (L-Soft) Revised LISTSERV so some of the
commands may differ.

A special thanks to the Cornell University Computing Center for its
continued support of native networking. Also thanks to the University
of Wisconsin-Milwaukee for its support of the Web searchable archives.
