You can reach Tyendinaga Band Office at the following address:
Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte
R. R. #1
Deseronto, Ontario
K0K 1X0
613-396-3424
613-762-5744 (fax)
Since you are writing on the "modern Confederacy", have you contacted all of
the Iroquoian communities in Canada and the United States. Also, it is my
understanding that Tyendinaga has never had "Confederacy" titles (or Chiefs)
at their community, but you can confirm this by contacting them directly.
You might also want to contact:
Sheila Staats
Woodland Cultural Centre
P. O. Box 1506
184 Mohawk Street
BRANTFORD, Ontario
N3T 5V6
519-759-2650
519-759-8912 (fax)
She is familiar with a lot of books already written concerning the Iroquois,
as the Centre has an extensive library collection on Woodland Indians.
