Fear to Tread?

I am seeking reviews of Russell Means' book "Where Whitemen Fear to Tread".
I would be interested in what you think of his new found popularity among
white people. I find it contradictory to has activism in the 70's where he
said Indians need to become independent from white society and become self
sufficient. It is ironic that he is now a movie star and an author. It
seems strange that he hired a non-Indian to help him writing his book
instead of hiring an Indian. Maybe he should rename his book, "Where
Whitemen Fear to Tread, unless your a Movie Producer."
