Need info on Inuit Rangers

I am looking for any information on the Inuit Rangers, such as the history
of formation, links to Canadian military, funding sources, number of
members, mandate etc.
If anyone could help point me in the right direction, it would be most
appreciated as I'm having trouble finding anything other than the most
cursory of mentions.
