I have been lurking for quite some time...
I am currently living in Taos, New Mexico. There is a rock/pop group called
Red Thunder out of Taos, who have had some national exposure and have toured
the US. I do not know the individual names of the members, but could
certainly look into it.
Although I wouldnt classify him as rock or even pop, there is a man named
Robert Mirabal from Taos Pueblo who is a wonderful flutist. He has played
with Red Thunder in some of their live performances, and I assume played on
some of their recordings.
