Greg Sevier's parents settled out of court in January of 1996 just before
a state hearing in Topeka, Kansas. They were exhausted from years of
efforts for justice--walks, hearings, and on and on, and it is sad to say
they believed people had forgotten their son's story. (When they tried to
sell t-shirts with Greg's name on them, people would say, "Who's he?")
That's why these nets are important, and let's always remember those who
died victims of racism.
