The Dumbartung Aboriginal Corporation in Western Australia, which has led
the campaign against US author Marlo Morgan's book "Mutant Message Down
Under," has received a letter from Aboriginal actor Burnum Burnum, who
endorsed the book and accompanied Morgan on a US publicity tour,
retracting his endorsement. He writes that his first response was an
"innocent response" and he "did not understand the tribal ramifications
of my support for the author".
