Comments from NativeNet listowner, Gary Trujillo (gst@gnosys.svle.ma.us):
It seems that this repeat broadcast is not being done on a nationwide basis,
since I don't see it listed for Sunday in my local (WGBH) PBS station's
listings. In order to check your own local listings, you might want to
start with the PBS Web site (http://www.pbs.org/), which has links to many
PBS stations around the U.S.
As for purchase of the set, you can call 1-800-228-4630 (at least in the
U.S. and probably also in Canada) for more information on ordering from
the Nebraska ETV Network.
I saw the program a couple of nights ago and found it to have been very well
done, particularly in its honest treatment of dealings between white settlers
and American Indian peoples. They have interspersed interviews with a number
of Indian people and academics (mostly historians) who provide commentary on
what actually happened and how it differs from what we were taught in school.
By the way, judging by Susanna's e-mail address, I'd say she is in or near
Oregon, so it could be that stations in the Pacific Northwest are showing
the program a second time, since they may expect that their viewers would
want another opportunity to see the program if they missed it the first time
it was shown.
