Subject: Watch 60 MINUTES this weekend !!!
Audubon's Forest team --Paul Engelmeyer, Brock Evans, Evan Hirsche,
Bonnie Phillips, Mike Leahy and Audubon public affairs-- have been
working with producers at 60 MINUTES on a story about the situation
in our national forests, specifically Pacific Northwest forests.
60 MINUTES has confirmed they will be airing their story this weekend,
Sunday, May 5.
The piece will focus on Scott Stouter, a colleague of Audubon's
Ten Mile Creek Sanctuary manager Paul Engelmeyer.
Mr. Stouter is a third generation logger, now working to stop the
logging of ancient forests in the Pacific Northwest.
This 60 MINUTES examination of the situation in our national forests
will reveal the damage that will be done if the timber 'salvage'
logging rider is not repealed or reversed.
60 MINUTES airs on Sunday, May 5, 7:00p.m. ET on CBS stations
throughout the country.
