The Kanatsiohareke community will hold its annual Festival on June 22-23.
On Saturday, June 22, there will be Iroquois social dances, visiting
dancers, and a chicken barbecue.
On Sunday, June 23, there will also be a quilt and crafts auction.
During both days there will country music entertainers; an Elvis
impersonator, and horse drawn wagon rides.
Directions:
New York State thruway to exit 28. After toll booth make the first Left
(westbound). Take the next right over the bridge. At the stop sign, make
a Left onto Rte 5. Follow Rte 5 seven miles to Kanatsiohareke.
I'm happy to announce that Tom Porter seems to be doing better and will be
undergoing a medical procedure on Monday. He will most likely be discharged
from the hospital before the week is out.
