The Editors of the Fourth World Journal invite submissions from
leaders and activists from Fourth World Nations (native communities,
nations, first nations), philosophers and spiritual leaders,
educators, historians, keepers of laws, academics (University,
College, Secondary Schools), and researchers.

The Fourth World Journal publishes contributions that address the
following areas:

FOURTH WORLD GEOPOLITICS:

National Initiatives, Nation/State Relations, International
Legislation, International Organizations, Conflict/Dispute
Resolution, Nations and New International Rules of Conduct.

ECONOMICS:

Natural Resource Development/Exploitation, Environmental (bio-
diversity/cultural) Issues, Trade Relations (i.e. Traditional Trade,
GATT, NAFTA), Traditional Economic Systems.

SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY & DEVELOPMENT:

Modes of Thought, Governments, Institutional Change, Decision-
Making, Drugs, Pharmaceuticals, Chemicals and Energy; Eco-Tourism,
Traditional Science, Architecture, Transportation.

CULTURAL SECURITY:

Land Rights, Artifacts, Traditional Territorial Duty, Music, Fine
Arts, Ceremony, Decision-Making, the Relationship Between the
Cosmos, Spirit and the Material Realm; Intellectual Property,
Cultural Property, Bio-Diversity and Cultural Diversity, Traditions,
History.

SOCIETY AND COMMUNITY:

Tradition, Change, Health, Education, Well-Being, Nutrition, Group
Relations, Human Mediated and Natural Trauma, Community, Gender
Studies, Public Health, Traditional Medicine and Healing; Research
Methods, Domestic Relations.

SUBMITTING MANUSCRIPTS

Submissions may be articles, essays, book reviews, commentaries, or
reports that address current developments or events, and refereed
articles that are final papers or essays that the author submits for
peer review. Manuscripts may be 2,000 to 6,000 words, plus
references.

Manuscripts may be submitted in ASCII text, Wordperfect, or
Microsoft Word formats.
