Gary,
I am a member of the Friends of the Mohawk Trail State Forest. I
posted our prayers at Peskeomskut on June 21st to NATIVE-L. I also provided
Jordan with the info for the home page.
Please have any subscribers without web access for the electronic
petition send it to wsears@tiac.net(Wanita Sears) or mll@berkshire.net
(Mitch Labuda). Mitch is handling all local press and politicians. I am
ccing him for him to send you his fax # as I do not have one. I am covering
powwows over the weekend to get that support. We both get copies of all
electronic petitions. Johnnie is very busy so we will gladly pick up this
slack.
Regards,
Wanita Sears

Gary,
Here it is: (413) 354-6323.
My computer will answer the phone assuming I can wade through all
the mail. almost 100+ messages today.
[ I assume Mitch is saying that his computer is equipped with a faxmodem
that will accept incoming FAX messages. --Gary ]
FYI, the media has been faxed and e-mailed releases. The Gov.
of Mass, John Olver, Sen. Kennedy, Kerry, House leaders both state and
federal, Senators, state and federal and many more to come have been
informed.
I have received a real message from Sen. Rosenburg's office, an aide named
Tom Mitchell. Jordan, when he has time to too is going include in the
electronic petition all the house and senate leaders connected to Indian
affairs.
I am tired. I worked on this whole matter till 3:45 a.m. Need a break.
Wanita, see you tomorrow.
Mitch
