The Olympic Game is coming. Have you heard of the theme song by
"Enigma"--Return to Innocent? The background music is Amis music. Amis
is one of the 10 tribes of aboriginal people in Taiwan.
An old Amis couple were invited by France to performce Amis
traditional songs. And the French people recorded the whole performance
without asking the couple. And they sold it to a record company. EMI or
something. And both company made a great profit out of it. But not the
couple. This is really irritating. Poeple who are not from Taiwan
probably don't know this. All they know is "WoW ! this music is so
cool" or whatever. Did the company ever tell people where it's from?
