Kapax who became a South American folk hero known as the "Tarzan of the
Amazon," when he swam the Magdalena River from Neiva to Barranquilla needs
your help.

Kapax has proposed a dramatic new stunt to attract the world's attention
to the deteriorating state of the Amazon and its indigenous people.

For the past 4 years Kapax has been seeking support from both the Brazilian
and Colombian President's who seem to have withdrawn from original offers
to help in providing a support crew.

Please help in spreading the word that Kapax , recognized and honored by
Maria Jimena Duzan, (Directora CEPER, Univeridad De Los Andes) in a letter
dated 3/1/95 for his collaboration in hosting a group of North American
reporters will abandon his efforts for a new 20 day Amazon River swim if no
support is found by the end of this year 1996.

Thank you.
