Indigenous Peoples Day Powwow and Indian Market

Saturday October 12, 1996
10:00 am to 6:00 pm

Exhibition Dancing - 10 am to noon
Open Gourd Dancing - noon to 1 pm
Grand Entry - 1 pm

Contest Dancing - Round Dancing - Intertribal Dancing

Market.

In 1992 Berkeley first celebrated the new annual holiday, Indigenous Peoples
Day. Please come and celebrate this holiday with us in honor of all our
ancestors, the people continuing the struggle today and future generations.
