International Development Workers:

WORKSHOP ON ALTERNATIVE, SMALL SCALE WATER
AND SANITATION TECHNOLOGIES

January 8 - 10, 1997

Three day workshop on alternative, small scale water and sanitation
technologies to be held at SIFAT's Galilee Campus in Lineville,
Alabama, USA between January 8 - 10, 1997. The workshop will provide
training and orientation for the development worker, missionary, and
others who wish to learn about water and sanitation technologies
within the context of a holistic, participatory approach to community
development.

Workshop classes include water and sanitation technologies, health,
and participatory community development.

Facilitators and trainers for the workshop include experienced field
technicians, visiting scholars, and SIFAT instructors.

Participants should plan arrivals to Atlanta, Birmingham, Alabama, or
Lineville, Alabama on January 7th. Cost of the workshop, which
includes ground transportation to and from the Atlanta (or Birmingham)
airport, meals, and 4 nights stay on the SIFAT campus, is $325.
