Hello All -

Two new editions of RAFI Communique that may be of interest to many members
of this list have recently been posted at our website:

"The Human Tissue Trade" is an in-depth and timely look at the emerging
global trade in human tissue samples and cell lines. The report focuses on
the international collection and exchange of tissues of indigenous people
and rural populations as well as the near-complete policy and regulatory
vacuum on human tissue culture and distribution.

"Biopiracy Update" is an up-to-date report with case studies of the use of
intellectual property systems to appropriate the resources and knowledge of
rural people. It features new cases from Bolivia, India, China, and
Cameroon.

Please note that the address our WWW site has changed. The RAFI home page
can now be found at: http://www.rafi.ca/ The direct link to the RAFI
Communique page is: http://www.rafi.ca/communique/

Thanks!
