Results of the Special Election held Tuesday, March 11, 1997

For Secretary/Treasurer:

Erma Vizenor 1249 votes (636 on rez votes; 613 absentee)
Al Goodwin 722 votes (448 on rez votes; 274 absentee)

For District 1 Representative:

Irene Auginaush-Turney 355 votes (153 on rez votes; 202 absentee)
Marcell Goodwin 267 votes ( 95 on rez votes; 172 absentee)
