A "contact table" for the members of the Native American Caucus in the
House of Representatives, listing names, staff contacts, phone & fax
numbers, and some email links is now available at
"http://www.askwitteachik.org/caucus.htm" These representatives have
expressed an interest in Native American affairs by joining this
voluntary Caucus, co-chaired by Democrat Dale Kildee of Michigan and
Republican J.D. Hayworth of Arizona.

Also, H.R. 1270, a bill amending the Nuclear Waste Policy Act of 1982,
has been added to the legislation available. This bill is related to
S.104, which passed the Senate last month. I have been contacted by
Shoshana Beth Konstant, who works for two organizations, Native Youth
Alliance and Nuclear Information & Resource Service, that this bill
"puts an estimated 187 Native Nations at risk of nuclear contamination." I
will include information about this at the site as soon as it is received.
