"American Indian activist Leonard Peltier has been in prison since 1977,
convicted of the murders of two FBI agents during a shootout on a South
Dakota reservation.
But continued attention to his case makes it increasingly likely that
Peltier will someday be freed, one of his newest supporters said."
The whole story, which quotes Danielle Mitterrand, human rights activist
and widow of French president Francois Mitterand, will run tomorrow at the
Native American Village <http://www.minorities-jb.com/native.htm>.
